Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Tradesman or Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, with a focus on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently or as part of a team, ensuring that all plumbing installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. Experience in remodeling projects is preferred. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate commercial vehicles as needed. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work. Previous experience as a maintenance person or in construction is advantageous.
