Role:

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Contract Plumber / Water Treatment Specialist to handle residential water softener and water filtration system installations. This is a flexible, 1099 contract position—ideal for a licensed plumber or experienced technician looking to supplement their income with high-paying, quick-turnaround jobs. You'll be our go-to expert for setting up new softeners, replacing old units, running bypass loops, and ensuring clean, code-compliant plumbing setups for our residential clients.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality, efficient installations of residential water softeners, whole-home filtration systems, and reverse osmosis (RO) systems. Plumb water softener bypass loops (copper, PEX, or PVC depending on the home) and run appropriate drain lines. Test existing water pressure, hardness, and system functionality post-installation to ensure zero leaks and optimal operation. Educate homeowners briefly on basic system controls, salt loading, and bypass valve usage before leaving the job site. Clean up the work area thoroughly and handle job site cleanup professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

Plumbing Experience:

Proven experience in residential plumbing, specifically with water treatment, water softeners, loops, and drain tie-ins. Occasional Commercial work.

Licensing:

Active Utah Journeyman/Residential Journeyman Plumber License or Master Plumber License preferred (or extensive documented experience under a master plumber). Active General Plumbing Contractor license (P200/P201) a major plus.

Tools & Transport:

Must have your own reliable work vehicle (truck or van suitable for carrying equipment) and your own complete set of plumbing tools.

Self-Starter:

Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and communicate clearly with both our team and the customer.

Professionalism:

Clean appearance, good customer service skills, and strong attention to detail.

Pay:

$40.98 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
