Responsibilities of the Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor include, but are not limited to: Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares students for real-world success. Collaborate with faculty and administrators to develop and maintain a strong, industry-relevant curriculum with clear learning objectives. Design and implement lesson plans to ensure students gain practical skills through lab work and real-world applications. Supervise and evaluate students in lab, clinical, externship, or other work-based learning experiences to ensure competency. Mentor students by providing feedback, encouragement, and guidance to help them complete the program, pass licensure exams, and secure employment in the field. Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to support student learning and help new students adapt to the technology. Track student progress, maintain records, and develop academic improvement plans as needed. Leading by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness. Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.Licensure:
Must be a licensed journeyman or master plumber.Industry Expertise:
Strong knowledge of current plumbing principles, methods, and techniques, along with hands-on field experience, is required.Technology Skills:
Familiarity with the trade's modern tools, software, and instructional technology.Teaching & Mentorship:
