We're actively seeking a dedicated Radon Mitigation Technician Apprentice to become a vital part of our team in Lehi, Utah. In this hands-on role, you'll become the expert installing, repairing, and maintaining advanced radon mitigation systems, directly contributing to healthier homes and businesses in our community. We have an excellent lead technician who will be training you in how to install radon mitigation systems, with the goal of having you lead your own truck and service route within 2 months. You'll also be instrumental in guiding our customers, ensuring they fully understand their systems, and consistently upholding our high standards of service. If you're mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and eager to contribute your skills, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Perform expert installation, inspection, and repair of various radon mitigation systems. Conduct precise airflow diagnostics, including careful drilling into concrete and slab foundations. Skillfully run ventilation piping and install efficient radon fans. Engage directly with our valued customers, clearly explaining system operations and ensuring their complete understanding. What We're Looking For Proven experience in radon mitigation is a strong asset. At least 1 year of experience in a related trade. Plumbing or electrical experience is preferred. A natural mechanical aptitude and a drive for continuous learning. A valid driver's license , a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a thorough background check. The physical capability to safely lift up to 60 lbs and confidently work in diverse environments like crawl spaces, attics, and on roofs. Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing hands-on construction tasks. Work Environment & Physical Demands This is a field-based role that regularly involves: Walking, climbing stairs, and handling equipment. Excellent physical health to perform demanding construction work. Occasional work in confined spaces (crawl spaces), elevated areas (attics), and on roofs. The ability to consistently lift up to 60 pounds. Standing for up to 8 hours daily. Travel Daily local travel in a company vehicle. Education & Professional Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent. NRPP certification for radon mitigation, or the commitment to obtain this crucial certification within an agreed-upon timeframe after hire.
