Must have:
General plumbing repairs, toilets, sinks, leaks, drain clearing—snow removal, sidewalks, etc. A valid Driver's License is a must. Hourly rate based on experience.Responsibilities:
- Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Carry tools and materials to job sites
- Assemble and disassemble pipes and fittings
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools
- Assist in the installation of fixtures, faucets, and other plumbing components
- Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut pipes accurately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is desirable
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces
- Must be able to perform snow related duties during winter storms (shoveling paths, clearing sidewalks, plowing, etc).
