This is not an entry-level or apprentice position. We are looking for an experienced plumber who can work independently, read plans, lay out plumbing systems, and complete jobs correctly and efficiently without constant supervision. Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional plumbing experience Strong residential and commercial new construction experience Renovation and rehab experience is a plus Ability to read and understand blueprints and plumbing plans Ability to independently lay out DWV and domestic water systems Strong understanding of plumbing codes and proper installation practices Experience with PVC, copper, CPVC and PEX Ability to properly calculate grade, measurements and piping layouts Experience with rough-in, top-out, testing, inspections and final trim Experience installing plumbing fixtures, water heaters and related equipment Must have your own basic plumbing hand tools Valid driver's license and good driving record Reliable transportation Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of construction plumbing Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Commercial and residential construction experience Experience working from commercial plan sets and specifications Experience coordinating with general contractors and other trades Experience working with or overseeing apprentices/helpers Gas piping experience Backflow certification is a
