Job Description
Mid City Corporation is a leading infrastructure services company providing utility, mechanical, and specialty construction solutions. Our team is known for delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking talented professionals who are eager to make an impact and help build long-term client relationships. A plumbing service technician is responsible for providing plumbing service to residential and commercial customers. This role works closely with the Plumbing and HVAC Director, Service Manager, clients, and suppliers to deliver successful projects while supporting the continued growth of Mid City's plumbing division. Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.
- Interpret drawings, plans, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing system issues. Communicate required work to customers and service manager.
- Coordinate with service manager for preparation of work scope and fees based on field observations.
- Coordinate with Service Manager and support staff to obtain permits necessary for completion of work.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with suppliers and equipment vendors. Required Qualifications
- Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber credential
- Valid driver's license Knowledge and Skills
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to think proactively and prioritize appropriately with a sense of urgency
- Constant professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
- Read and understand contracts, construction documents, plans, and specifications
- Simultaneously support multiple projects
- Work independently to complete tasks
- Comply with company and office policies and procedures
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a face-paced environment Job Details
- Working Hours- Approximately 40-45 hours per week. Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
