Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of plumbing systems. Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment such as plumbing inspection cameras or augers to clear blockages and restore flow. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems before they escalate; perform system maintenance as needed. Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects or new builds by interpreting blueprints and adhering to local building codes. Engage in heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety standards; utilize carpentry skills for framing or support structures when necessary. Apply welding techniques when required for pipe joining or repairs involving metal components; operate schematics for troubleshooting complex systems. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to construction site experience, HVAC integration, heavy lifting, and the use of hand tools or power tools. Skills Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems. Mechanical knowledge of water systems, HVAC integration, pipe threading, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, plumbing inspection cameras, and other specialized devices. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installation or repair work. Familiarity with local building codes to ensure all work meets legal standards; experience with plumbing system inspections is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients while providing professional solutions. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; commercial driving skills are advantageous. Physical ability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders/scaffolding, bending, crawling in tight spaces, and performing manual tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe sizes or system layouts; handyman experience or remodeling background is beneficial.
