PAY:

$42.00-$46.00/hour, based on experience, plus 1.5x overtime

Job Description

Join a fast-growing and respected plumbing company specializing in residential and light commercial projects. This direct-hire position offers stable, year-round work, competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work with an experienced and supportive team.

The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plumbing systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable plumbing codes.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems for residential and light commercial projects

Perform septic system installations; experience is helpful but not required

Cut, assemble, solder, thread, and join PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper, and gas piping

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

Complete high-quality, code-compliant plumbing installations

Plan pipe routes, fixture locations, and wall and roof penetrations

Install and connect plumbing fixtures and related equipment

Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine appropriate repairs

Start each day at the Weston, WI shop for job briefings and dispatch to project sites

Work independently while managing assigned jobs and maintaining productivity

Maintain properly stocked materials, tools, and equipment

Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow company safety procedures and applicable plumbing codes

Qualifications

Current Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber License

Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience, preferably in residential or commercial construction

Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing systems

Experience with PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper, and gas piping

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing plans

Ability to troubleshoot plumbing systems and perform repairs

Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle

Professional communication and customer-service skills

Additional Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site

Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position

Must be willing to travel to project sites within approximately 40 miles of Weston, WI
