Job Description

In this role, your responsibilities will include electrical and hydraulic inspections, troubleshooting and repair/replacement of parts and components of water/irrigation pump stations in the field. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for meeting new people and a desire to learn from seasoned professionals.
Primary responsibilities include:
Perform preventive maintenance service work on irrigation pump stations. Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems Repair/Replace equipment as needed Lubricate motors and service pump packing/seals Communicate issues and make suggestions for changes with Service Lead and communicate with customer as needed Produce effective and accurate written documents, reports, and time management Training will be provided for the right candidate if the candidate has limited knowledge of irrigation pump stations
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of prior experience and a background including electrical inspection Journeyman's Electrician certification is a plus Solid knowledge in the application of the National Electrical Code is a plus The ability to stand, crouch, bend and lift majority of the day in outdoor environment Good technical skills with the capacity to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and written Effective oral and written communication Ability to multi-task, enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated and work independently Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented and be able to work with tight deadlines and/or overtime as needed to finish the job Irrigation Pumps and Motors knowledge preferred If hired, applicant may be required to submit proof of citizenship and valid driver's license This position is subject to a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.
