- Position Overview
- The Pump Mechanic / Rotating Equipment Mechanic will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild rotating equipment in an industrial manufacturing or process environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision assembly skills, and the ability to support safe and reliable plant operations.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain rotating equipment.
+ Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble pumps and related equipment. + Work on centrifugal, positive displacement, dosing, and chemical transfer pumps. + Maintain and repair mixers, agitators, compressors, blowers, fans, gearboxes, speed reducers, extruders, pelletizers, and cutters. + Replace and align bearings, seals, shafts, couplings, and other rotating components. + Perform precision fit-up, alignment, adjustment, and reassembly work. + Identify root causes of equipment failures and help reduce repeat downtime. + Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, work orders, and specifications. + Document repair work, findings, parts used, and recommendations. + Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

- Qualifications
- + Strong rotating equipment repair and rebuild experience.
+ Pump repair experience, including seals, bearings, shafts, couplings, and alignment. + Ability to reassemble equipment accurately and with attention to tolerances. + Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. + Industrial, chemical, plastics, polymer, refinery, manufacturing, or process experience preferred. + Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools. + Ability to work independently and safely.
