Role:

NJE Concrete Pumping LLC is looking for a skilled Boom Pump Operator to join our growing team in Fort Myers, FL! This is your chance to operate heavy equipment on exciting construction projects while working with a crew that takes pride in quality and safety. Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and break down boom pump equipment on residential and commercial job sites Safely position and stabilize the pump truck using outriggers prior to operation Coordinate with concrete truck drivers, foremen, and crew to ensure smooth pours Monitor concrete flow, pressure, and boom placement throughout each pour Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on pump trucks and related equipment Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment in top condition Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols

Requirements:

Proven experience operating a concrete boom pump or similar heavy equipment Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred or required Strong understanding of concrete pumping systems, hydraulics, and boom operation Ability to read job site layouts and communicate effectively with crew members Solid knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and job site best practices Reliable, punctual, and able to work in outdoor conditions including heat and varying terrain ACI or ACPA certification is a plus Must be available to work
