In this vital role, you will operate boom and/or line concrete pumps and support heavy construction operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate placement of concrete on active job sites. Your work will directly support structural elements such a slabs, footings, columns, and walls, helping maintain production flow and project quality. Duties Operate a concrete pump (boom and/or line pump) for placing concrete in structural applications such as slabs, footings, columns, and walls. Set up, operate, and dismantle pumping equipment, including proper placement of hoses and outriggers. Coordinate with the superintendent, foreman, and crew to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate concrete placement. Monitor concrete flow and consistency to prevent blockages and maintain continuous production. Perform daily inspections of equipment and complete routine maintenance and cleaning. Identify, report, and document mechanical issues; perform minor troubleshooting as needed. Follow all jobsite safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area around the pumping equipment. Complete daily logs, including pump hours, yardage, and any incidents or issues encountered during operations. Experience Experience operating construction equipment (bulldozer, excavator, etc.) Proven experience operating concrete pump equipment (boom and/or line pump) Knowledge of structural concrete placement in construction projects Previous experience in construction or concrete work (preferred, not always required) Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues (preferred) Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment Good communication skills with supervisors and crews The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in construction environments, with the ability to operate equipment effectively while collaborating closely with supervisors and crew members to meet project schedules and standards.
