Job Description
We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who enjoys fixing equipment and keeping things running. This is a year-round position with a mix of shop work and field support. What You'll Do During the paving season (approximately 50% shop / 50% field): Perform oil changes, lubrication, and preventive maintenance Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment Replace belts, hoses, recoil starters, lights, wiring, pumps, valves, and other components Deliver equipment and materials to crews Fill in with field crews when needed Keep equipment operating safely and efficiently During the winter (approximately 90% shop): Rebuild and restore company equipment Repair sealcoating tanks and systems Paint, service, and prepare equipment for spring Learn to rebuild sealcoating pumps (paid training) Help develop our new pump rebuilding service
