Job Description

Summary:
Troubleshoot, repair, sell and install water pumping and water treatment for water wells.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Service and install residential water pumping systems, water treatment equipment, water wells and abandonments. 2. Install new water pumping systems and water treatment equipment. 3. Test water for mineral content and size water treatment accordingly. 4. Size pumps with different applications. 5. Sell wells, pumps and water treatment equipment as needed. 6. Keep service truck stocked and maintained. 7. Take night calls for service on a regular basis. 8. Fill out all paperwork properly, accurately, and in a timely fashion including job work sheets and timecards. 9. Keep equipment and designated yard area neat and clean at all times. 10. Collect payment from each customer after completing each project, unless other payment method is authorized by Domestic Service Manager. 11. Dispatch as necessary during the Domestic Service Manager's absence. 12. Be available to go out of town as needed. 13. Be familiar with the safe and general operation of all equipment used on the job site. 14. Wear clean uniforms and be neat in appearance. 15. Take part in training sessions, workshops, etc. 16. Maintain good communication with customers, fellow employees and Manager. 17. Promote Traut Companies products and services. 18. Follow all Traut Companies and DOT Safety Rules, Procedures and Policies. 19. Collaborate with customers and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner. 20. Responsible for keeping a balanced inventory with as minimal waste as possible. 21. Help in other areas as needed.

Welding and cutting torch use (will train), mechanical skills
Certification Requirements:
40-hour safety, CDL endorsement (will train)

Salary Range:
$24 -$27 (DOE)
Supplemental Pay:
Commissions after probationary period
