Job Description
Holland Pump Company is seeking a Field Technician I/Delivery specialist to support dewatering and pump operations for construction projects. In this hands-on role, you will deliver, set up, operate, and service diesel-driven and electric pump systems on customer jobsites, ensuring safe, reliable performance. Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting, hose and pipe assembly, site inspections, and accurate documentation. You will interact directly with customers, follow strict safety and environmental guidelines, and collaborate with a skilled team while developing your technical expertise and growing your career. Responsibilities Deliver, load, and unload pumps, hoses, and related equipment to and from customer jobsites Set up, install, and remove diesel and electric dewatering systems per job specifications Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs on pumps and accessories Inspect sites for safe equipment placement and proper hose, pipe, and power routing Operate trucks, trailers, and lifting equipment in compliance with DOT and company policies Complete service tickets, delivery logs, and equipment condition reports accurately Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards on jobsites and in the yard Communicate with customers on-site to verify needs, walk through setups, and address basic issues Coordinate with dispatch, service technicians, and supervisors to meet delivery and pickup schedules Assist with yard organization, equipment staging, and inventory of pumps, hoses, and fittings Required Skills Pump setup and operation Basic mechanical repair Hydraulic and diesel equipment familiarity Safe trailer towing and vehicle operation Loading and unloading with tie-downs and rigging Reading job layouts and site plans Use of hand and power tools Jobsite safety and OSHA awareness Customer service and communication Documentation and basic computer or mobile app use
