Position Summary 3S O&M Services is hiring an experienced Artificial Lift Technician to support a major operator in the New Mexico Delaware Basin. This is a local, long-term position on a lift team working ESP, gas lift, and jet pump wells. The field is centered around Jal, NM, with some work near Carlsbad.

Pay:

$45 to $55 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime at time and a half

Schedule:

8 on 6 off or Monday through Friday schedule options, days, 40 to 50 hours per week. Potential for on-call.

Vehicle:

Company truck and fuel card provided Roles and Responsibilities Monitor ESP, gas lift, and jet pump wells remotely through SCADA (XSPOC) Flag wells that are down, off-trend, or underperforming, and diagnose the cause Troubleshoot ESP surface equipment and drives (VFD/VSD): setpoints, alarms, shutdowns, and restarts Optimize gas lift injection rates and troubleshoot gas lift performance Monitor and troubleshoot jet pump systems Shoot fluid levels and run field diagnostics Support ESP startups, equipment pulls, and root cause failure analysis (RCFA) Document well work in WellView and keep daily reports current Help lease operators understand alarms and basic lift troubleshooting Perform all work safely and in line with customer and regulatory requirements Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on artificial lift experience with ESP and/or gas lift, operator or service side Comfortable with remote monitoring and reading SCADA trends Working knowledge of ESP drive types and how drive settings affect well performance Basic computer skills: laptop/tablet, data entry, and email Must meet and maintain eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle, including a good driving record Must pass a background check and drug screen, including hair follicle Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders and stairways, and work outdoors in all weather Must be able to work in the United States without the assistance of sponsorship Candidates in Hobbs, Eunice, Jal, and Carlsbad are strongly preferred. Odessa, Andrews, and Seminole will be considered.
