Job Description
Job Summary :
The Pump Operator safely operates machines working on a variety of construction sites controlling the operation of the pump and the output of concrete.Duties/Responsibilities:
Follows and understands Mission, Vision, Values Performs Job Safety Analysis upon arrival at jobsite Drives and controls the safe operation of the pump and the output of concrete by directing the pump, boom, and system following all DOT, OSHA, and ACPA, and manufacturer guidelines Operates the trailer, line dragon, and truck pumping fleet Sets up and cleans out pump following OSHA and ACPA guidelines Performs basic mechanical repairs and PM's Provides assistance to execute job scheduling, shop maintenance, and organizational goals Assists with shop and yard good housekeeping and improvements including truck flow and processes Represents Inferno Concrete Pumping by providing efficient work and courteous customer service Maintains cleanliness of fleet by washing pumps, trucks, and fleet, keeping free of concrete, dirt, and grime, shining aluminum wheels, and ensuring proper decals and safety placards Completes and Submits fleet and pump inspection forms, job tickets, DVIR, maintenance forms, time cards, and cost coding Reports job completion for next assignment Assists with line system layout Responsible for knock down concrete wash out piles Other assigned duties as needed, including travel as requestedRequired Skills/Abilities :
Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems Ability to maintain competency and proficiency of ACPA and inferno, and manufacturing training Good problem-solving skills in a dynamic setting Positive attitudeEducation and Experience :
CDL B OSHA
10-hour safety training ACPA Certified DOT medical requirementsPhysical Requirements :
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds Must be able to operate machinery for prolonged periods of time Must be able to operate equipment in a variety of environments including but not limited to concrete, dirt, fumes, and loud noise levels Must be able to work long hours and Saturdays when neededMission, Vision, Values :
