DOE Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician with a strong background in oil and gas production equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing natural gas compressors, pumps, vapor recovery units (VRUs), and other production equipment.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment used in oil and gas production operations. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, pumps, VRUs, and associated production equipment. Identify mechanical failures, determine root causes, and implement appropriate repairs. Understand the operation of production equipment and how individual components work together within a production facility. Respond to equipment breakdowns and after-hours callouts in a timely manner. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation. Independently prioritize daily maintenance activities and manage multiple assignments. Follow all company and client safety procedures and operating standards.

Qualifications:

Experience with

CAT 3606/3608

compressors (including older units), VRUs, gas lift compression, gear pumps, SWD pumps (PD and triplex), LACT units, and general pump operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage daily workloads independently. Must live in Coyanosa, Odessa, Monahans, Pecos, or surrounding area. Housing is not provided. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements.
