Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Pump Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in pump systems, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of pumps and related equipment. The Pump Technician will work closely with clients to ensure optimal performance of their systems while adhering to safety standards. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of pump systems and components. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments and voltmeters. Analyze schematics and logic controllers to diagnose problems effectively. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide solutions for client needs. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations. Knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing is a plus but will train. Skills Proficiency in industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Strong understanding of hydraulics and pump operation principles. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience with logic controllers for automated systems. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate diagnostics. Excellent analytical skills to assess mechanical issues effectively. Windmill experience is a plus.
