Capitol Pump Resources is looking for a skilled technician to join us. Looking for ITWBS Nicet 2 or 3 certified technician or equal experience. Starting pay depends on experience. You would be assisting a technician for the first year to learn the job. After 1 year, pay increases/increased benefits are given to technicians who can go out on their own.
In this role you will:
Repair, test, and troubleshoot fire pumps, jockey pumps, and controllers for customers in commercial, industrial, and specialized settings. Be well versed in all types and manufacturers of fire pump equipment in order to trouble shoot a wide range of issues on site. Understand the underlying code (NFPA 20 AND 25) and standard requirements and will be required to pass City of Seattle FP1 license test within 6 months of employment. Capitol Pump Resources is dedicated to ensuring that our technicians are continually educated in the latest codes and products. Must be willing to travel out of state for training at manufactures facilities.
