Job Title:
Rigger Job Description This role focuses on installing camera towers inside large warehouse facilities, using a variety of hand and power tools while strictly following standard operating procedures. You will perform physically demanding work that includes moving, staging, and cleaning up materials, and you will contribute to basic installation tasks as part of a broader construction and installation team. Responsibilities Install camera towers inside large warehouse facilities according to detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) without deviating from instructions. Use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and assembly tasks. Perform rigging duties as required to support the safe installation and positioning of equipment and structures. Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the work area to support efficient installation workflows. Lift, carry, and handle materials and equipment, including items weighing up to 50 pounds, throughout the shift. Remain on your feet for the majority of the workday while performing extensive physical labor. Assist with basic construction, carpentry, industrial, repair, and assembly-related tasks as needed. Read and follow blueprints, drawings, or written instructions to support quality installation and assembly work. Support quality assurance efforts by checking that installed components meet standards and project requirements. Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on installed systems and equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleanup of debris and materials. Collaborate with general laborers, installers, and other team members to complete daily production and installation goals. Follow all site safety rules and procedures, including proper use of rigging, scissor lifts, forklifts, and personal protective equipment. Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance to support project timelines. Be open to traveling to other sites to continue work on additional projects when opportunities arise. Essential Skills Proven experience performing extensive physical labor in construction, industrial, installation, or general labor environments. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with mechanical assemblies and components. High level of proficiency with hand tools and power tools used for installation, construction, repair, and assembly work. Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely without deviating from instructions. Capability to stand on your feet for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Reliable and punctual work habits with a strong focus on attendance. Comfort working in a busy warehouse environment with many moving parts and ongoing operations. Experience with installation work or general labor tasks in large facilities or warehouse projects. Rigging certification required for rigger roles. Scissor lift certification required for operating scissor lifts. Forklift certification required for operating forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience working on projects inside large distribution or fulfillment centers is highly beneficial. Experience in construction, carpentry, industrial maintenance, repair, assembly, or mechanical work is an advantage. Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings supports accurate installation and quality assurance. Familiarity with quality assurance practices in installation or production environments is a plus. Experience as a maintenance technician or in troubleshooting mechanical or installed systems is helpful. Previous exposure to installation or general labor work on large-scale projects is preferred. Work Environment You will work inside a large, active warehouse facility with many moving parts, equipment, and ongoing operations. The environment is fast-paced, with installation teams, general labor, and other trades working together on camera tower installations and related tasks. The role involves extensive time on your feet, frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds, and continuous use of hand and power tools, as well as interaction with rigging equipment, scissor lifts, and forklifts. Standard work hours are typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break, Monday through Friday, with the potential for additional hours during the week and some Saturdays, resulting in 8-10 hour shifts. The dress code includes steel-toe footwear, jeans, and a work shirt, along with any required personal protective equipment appropriate for a construction-style warehouse environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
