SUMMARY:

We have a current opening for a Rigger Journeyman , with a minimum 4 years of marine and/or shipyard experience, at the San Diego, CA location. The Rigger Journeyman you will accomplish the set up and repair of rigging in the shop and on site without supervision. Accomplish the alignment and anchoring of machinery, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment, and ensuring the rigging plan is safe prior to executing without supervision. Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

REQUIREMENTS

Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred. Minimum 4 years of marine and/or shipyard experience. This position may require access to U.S. government or military sites. As such, candidates must be eligible to obtain base access clearance, which includes passing a background check and presenting valid government-issued identification.
