We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Designer with required, hands-on experience in the marine industry . Direct knowledge of marine products, materials, hardware, and on-the-water applications is essential for success in this role. Candidates must have practical shop experience, including familiarity with assembly processes and the use of basic hand tools. A strong understanding of marine-specific design challenges—such as durability, corrosion resistance, fitment, and performance in harsh environments—is critical. The ideal candidate will present a strong design portfolio, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing-driven environment. Pay based on experience and ability.Key Responsibilities:
Create compelling 2D designs with a focus on OEM marine products , while also developing custom one-off designs as needed. Ensure all designs are visually appealing, manufacturable, and optimized for real-world marine performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements. Assist in the assembly of prototypes and final products using basic hand tools. Utilize shop experience to effectively execute assembly tasks and troubleshoot issues. Ensure high-quality standards in both design and physical assembly. Maintain organized records of design files and assembly processes.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a 2D Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities. Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of the marine industry are required, including familiarity with marine products, materials, and real-world applications. Proficiency in design software such as V Carve Required shop experience with assembly techniques and proficiency using basic hand tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of CNC machinery is a plus. Experience in product development or prototyping. Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for design.What We Offer:
