The Columbia, SC Division is seeking an experienced Journeyman Millwright to join the team, utilizing expertise to install, dismantle, and move heavy machinery and equipment according to detailed plans and specifications. Responsibilities Install, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and heavy equipment using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment Read and interpret layout plans, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and alignment Perform heavy and complex rigging operations safely and efficiently Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed to minimize downtime Conduct precision layout and alignment work, maintaining tight tolerances Install ductwork and other utility services as required by project scope Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards Champion and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of industrial mechanical experience Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, layout plans, schematics, and specifications Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyance systems, motors, and other industrial machine components Experience with heavy and complex rigging Fabrication and welding skills Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues Competence in precision measurement, geometric calculations, and use of layout tools Ability to operate heavy machinery and aerial lifts Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with vendors, co-workers, and customers OSHA 10 certification preferred Benefits Comprehensive health and dental insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield Paid vacation and holidays 401(k) plan with company matching Flexible spending program Opportunities for advancement and professional growth Positive company culture focused on safety and teamwork Learn more about our company at www.
