Job Description

Nesco Resource is hiring for Drawing Operators for a location in Newberry, SC. Apply today! Fine Wire Drawing Operator Expectations Safety & Housekeeping Wear all required PPE and follow safety procedures. Complete required crane and PIT/tugger inspections. Inspect the work area and report hazards. Maintain a clean work area; remove wire, trash, dust, and liquids. Handle spools and bobbins properly. Report all injuries, accidents, and unsafe conditions immediately. Production Follow posted job priorities and Supervisor instructions. Maintain proper machine setup, wire flow, and color. Communicate material needs to the Material Handler/Supervisor. Prepare labels and required documentation. Check and label complete Fine Wire bobbins. Set up and replace 1T plated wire bobbins. Perform approved light maintenance and die changes. Complete a minimum of 10 full die changes per month. Quality Maintain accurate wire traceability and documentation. Complete required quality checks and weld samples. Identify and report non-conforming material. Quarantine questionable 1T bobbins and notify the Supervisor. Return rejected plated wire to Plating with the original Birth Certificate and document the rejection. After three rejections, set material aside and notify the Supervisor. Work Expectations Be on time and ready to work. Follow procedures and perform only trained/authorized tasks. Maintain safe, productive, and professional work habits.
