Job Overview SIMPLE dead hang out of 80ft snorklellift- 4 up, 2 down We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Rigger to join our dynamic construction and heavy equipment operation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently rigging, lifting, and securing loads using a variety of cranes and lifting equipment on construction sites. Your expertise in materials handling, load securing rigging methods, and adherence to safety protocols will ensure smooth operations and the safety of all personnel involved. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery, coordinate complex lifts, and contribute to large-scale projects that demand precision and safety. Duties Set up, inspect, and operate cranes such as overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, excavators, backhoes, and hydraulics-based lifting equipment to lift and move heavy materials Implement proper load handling procedures in crane operations to ensure safe lifting and transportation of construction materials Rig loads using appropriate load securing methods, ensuring stability during lifts and transport Coordinate with construction teams to plan lifting sequences and ensure compliance with safety regulations Conduct regular inspections of rigging gear, safety equipment, and lifting machinery to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs Follow OSHA safety standards and construction workplace safety regulations at all times during operations Assist in warehouse shipping & receiving activities by loading/unloading materials with proper handling techniques Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge related to load handling equipment and material handling procedures Familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA standards for rigging, crane operation, and construction site safety Ability to implement load securing rigging methods accurately for various types of loads Knowledge of hydraulics systems, materials handling techniques, and heavy equipment maintenance practices Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocol adherence and hazard awareness Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards Join our team if you're passionate about working with heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment where safety is paramount!
