Total Safety is looking for a NCCER Rigger to join their safety conscious team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely rigging, lifting, and moving materials using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment, in accordance with NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) standards. Inspect rigging equipment and materials to ensure safety and compliance. Set up and dismantle rigging gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches. Signal crane or hoist operators during lifting and moving operations. Determine proper rigging techniques and load configurations. Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and lifting plans. Collaborate with crane operators, supervisors, and other crew members to ensure safe operations. Follow all OSHA and NCCER safety standards and guidelines. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and job sites. NCCER Rigger Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3 depending on role).
