The Crane Rigger is responsible for safely attaching, securing, and guiding loads during crane lifting operations on a construction site. This role works closely with crane operators and ground crews to ensure all lifting activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Attach and secure loads to cranes using slings, chains, and rigging equipment Signal crane operators during lifting and positioning of materials Inspect rigging equipment before use to ensure safety compliance Ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely moved Follow OSHA and site safety regulations at all times Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and ground crew Assist with general construction tasks as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a crane rigger in construction or industrial projects Knowledge of rigging methods, load handling, and standard hand signals Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong safety awareness and communication skills Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy materials

Preferred Qualifications:

NCCCO Rigger Certification (or equivalent) Signal Person Certification Crane Rigger
