In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely rigging, securing, and assisting with the operation of cranes and heavy equipment on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that materials are moved efficiently and safely, supporting the successful completion of complex projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery and contribute to large-scale construction endeavors in a fast-paced environment. Duties Safely rig, secure, and unrig loads using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment such as slings, hooks, shackles, and chains Assist crane operators in positioning loads accurately and efficiently for lifting operations Conduct thorough inspections of rigging gear, cranes, and other heavy equipment to ensure safety standards are met Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and communicate effectively during operations Handle materials and supplies within warehouses or construction sites, including loading and unloading shipments using forklifts, boom trucks, or backhoes Maintain detailed records of rigging activities, inspections, and equipment usage Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during lifting operations Experience Proven experience working with cranes, rigging equipment, and heavy machinery on construction sites or industrial settings Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation, rigging techniques, and materials handling processes Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating or transporting heavy equipment such as boom trucks or forklifts Hands-on experience with construction site logistics including shipping & receiving procedures Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment like forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery Strong understanding of safety standards related to rigging, crane operation, and construction site practices Prior experience operating boom trucks or similar vehicles is a plus Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to safety excellence and operational efficiency.
