In this energetic role, you will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and more. Your hands-on skills and safety awareness will contribute directly to high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools. Set up and safely use construction safety harnesses and ladders to access roofs at various heights. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of roofing plans. Handle heavy lifting of materials such as metal sheets, shingles, or concrete blocks while adhering to safety protocols. Support the installation of siding, stucco, metal stud framing, and other exterior building components. Follow construction safety regulations diligently, including proper use of fall protection equipment like harnesses. Aid in the fabrication and installation of roofing components such as flashing, caulking, trim carpentry, and waterproofing materials. Skills Proven construction experience with knowledge of roofing repair and installation techniques. Familiarity with various roofing materials including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and heavy machinery safely. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of safety harnesses and fall protection gear. Experience with siding installation, stucco application, masonry work, plumbing integration, or remodeling projects is a plus.
