Roofing Service Technician

The Roof Service Technician performs roof-top inspections and repairs as directed by management. They are responsible for completing inspections, determining existing roof conditions, and performing repairs to industry standards in a timely manner. The Roof Service Technician must have a strong knowledge of various roofing systems and the ability to identify deficiencies and make proper repairs and/or determine if the roof system is failing and needs to be further inspected for alternative options.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Communicate with building owner or site contact at least 30 min prior to scheduled arrival time Meet with building contact at scheduled time to conduct roof-top inspections/ repairs Setup and adhere to all WRSM safety protocols Inspect full roof system for deficiencies and roof conditions Perform all temporary and permanent repairs to industry standards Document each service job on WRSM preferred platform with pictures of the roof conditions, deficiencies identified, and repairs made Execute all service projects to the scope provided and in a timely manner Communicate with lead technician daily for scheduled leak calls and daily progress Maintain assigned service vehicle for cleanliness and repair supplies

Requirements/Qualifications:

Ability to communicate verbally and written Effective roof system evaluation, leak diagnostic skills and problem solving skills a must A good driving record is essential for this position Must be able to climb a ladder Position requires lifting up to 50 lbs.at times Must pass background check and drug screen

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
