This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and siding installation. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to strict safety protocols. Your expertise will help deliver durable, weather-resistant roofs that meet client specifications and industry standards. If you thrive in outdoor environments and are passionate about construction and roofing excellence, this position is perfect for you! Duties Install, repair, and maintain different types of roofing systems such as metal roofing and single-ply membranes with precision and efficiency. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely to complete roofing tasks while following all construction safety regulations. Conduct roof inspections to identify issues related to roofing repair or siding installation and recommend appropriate solutions. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including the use of construction safety harnesses, ladder use procedures, and workplace safety regulations. Assist with other construction tasks such as drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, metal stud framing, and general handyman duties as needed. Collaborate with team members on project timelines and ensure all work aligns with construction plans and schematics. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation and repair, including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematics. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on construction sites with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding or masonry. Ability to follow detailed instructions from construction plans while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship. Prior experience with drywall installation, caulking techniques, stucco application, trim carpentry or masonry is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety protocol adherence and problem-solving.
