In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs using a wide range of materials and techniques. Duties Install and repair roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingle or tile roofs. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute roofing plans. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently to complete roofing tasks. Apply construction safety harnesses and follow strict construction workplace safety regulations during all phases of work. Conduct siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, and metal stud framing as needed for comprehensive building finishes. Perform roofing repairs and maintenance to extend the lifespan of existing roofs. Assist with interpreting construction plans and schematics to ensure precise installation according to specifications. Skills Extensive construction estimating experience to accurately assess project scope and materials needed. Proficiency in ladder use, heavy lifting, and outdoor work experience in various weather conditions. Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols including harness use and adherence to workplace safety regulations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for roofing, siding, masonry, and trim carpentry tasks. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Experience with metal roofing systems, single-ply membrane roofing, and other roofing materials.
