In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and technical knowledge while contributing to the safety and integrity of our clients' structures. Responsibilities Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tiles, and membranes with precision and attention to detail. Repair and replace damaged or worn roofing components, ensuring long-lasting results. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and roofing plans to accurately execute project specifications. Operate hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and caulking guns as well as power tools including nail guns, drills, saws, and compressors. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to meet project demands. Conduct site assessments to determine project scope, materials needed, and safety considerations. Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry work, or other related construction tasks as needed for comprehensive project execution. Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites. Assist with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for complex roofing layouts or restoration projects. Support related tasks such as flashing installation, waterproofing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, or tile laying when required. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for roofing installation and repairs. Strong background in construction site experience with a focus on roofing systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding practices, and masonry work beneficial for specialized projects. Skilled in restoration work including roof repairs after storm damage or aging structures. Familiarity with plumbing or carpentry skills such as framing carpentry or trim carpentry enhances versatility on-site. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout demanding workdays. Experience with schematics interpretation for complex roofing or structural systems.
