Deliver Quality. Drive Results. Join our team as a Foreman Roofer and lead commercial roofing crews through safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. The Foreman Roofer owns day-to-day field operations including crew leadership, productivity, quality, and jobsite coordination while serving as the primary connection between field operations and project leadership. This role is designed for experienced roofing professionals who demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, operational execution, and a commitment to safety and quality. This position is part of a union workforce and employees are expected to comply with applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements, company policies, safety standards, and training expectations. What You'll Do Crew Leadership Lead, direct, and motivate roofing crews to meet production, quality, and safety goals Assign work based on crew skill levels, project requirements, and priorities Train, coach, and mentor Assistant and Journeyman Roofers Address performance concerns and escalate issues when appropriate Project Execution & Productivity Lead installation of complex roofing systems and details according to plans, specifications, and manufacturer requirements Read and interpret drawings and sequence work activities effectively Troubleshoot field conditions and develop practical solutions to maintain productivity Coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, and workflow to minimize downtime and rework Track project progress and communicate schedule impacts, needs, or changes Maintain compliance with company policies, safety expectations, and housekeeping standards Quality & Safety Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure work meets company and manufacturer standards Support inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities Lead daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks Enforce PPE, fall protection, and jobsite safety requirements Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns promptly Exercise Stop-Work Authority to protect employees, property, and the worksite Ensure compliance with timekeeping, breaks, meal periods, and work hours Communication & Documentation Maintain daily job reports and production documentation Communicate effectively with crews, project teams, customers, and trade partners Participate in project meetings as needed What We're Looking For Current Journeyman dispatched through Roofers & Waterproofers Union Local 81 with "JJ" classification Demonstrated knowledge of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, and safety practices Proven ability to coordinate work and lead field execution OSHA 10 certification preferred Ability to read construction drawings and manufacturer requirements Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to coach and develop team members while driving accountability Travel Requirements Must report to assigned jobsites as directed, including travel to projects outside the local area and occasional overnight, out-of-town, or out-of-state assignments based on project and business needs and applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
