Colorado Springs, CO Requirements Experience:
5+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred. Journeyman's Card holders start at $33.05/hr + 6.43 /hr in benefits . Experienced but without a Journeyman's Card? We'll conduct a Preliminary Evaluation to determine placement.
Certifications:
OSHA 10 card required.
Background:
Clean record preferred (for military base and/or prison projects).
Availability:
Reliable, motivated, and able to work 40+ hours/week (weather permitting).
Tools:
Bring your own hand tools; power tools provided by contractor. Foreman Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of roofers, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance. Organize daily tasks, assign work, and monitor productivity. Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and job orders. Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and union representatives. Train and mentor crew members, including apprentices. Maintain accurate records of materials, hours, and progress. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Job Description Work outdoors in various weather conditions, often at heights, using fall protection. Install, repair, and maintain commercial low-slope and flat roofing systems , including: Single-ply membranes (TPO, PVC, EPDM) Built-up roofing (BUR) systems Modified bitumen systems Sheet metal roofing, flashing, and edge details Operate and work around hot kettles, torches, adhesives, and other roofing application tools. Use and maintain hand tools, roofing-specific equipment, and contractor-provided power tools. Lift and carry roofing materials (often 50+ lbs). Work safely around heavy equipment, cranes, and material hoists. Follow jobsite safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations at all times. No Experience?
