Job Description
Overview Looking for a skilled FL roofer to install underlayment and possibly be part of a metal roof team. Responsibilities Assist with the installation and repair of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install roofing components. Set up ladders and scaffolding securely following construction safety harnesses and safety protocol adherence. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to support accurate roofing fabrication and installation. Perform heavy lifting tasks for materials such as shingles, metal panels, siding, drywall, stucco, and other building components. Support the installation of siding, metal stud framing, drywall, caulking, and remodeling projects as needed. Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations at all times. Skills Construction estimating experience is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs. Proficiency in ladder use and working at heights with proper safety harnesses. Knowledge of roofing repair techniques and roofing materials including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems. Familiarity with construction safety standards and OSHA regulations related to outdoor work environments. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication processes, and interpreting technical drawings. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form to prevent injury.
