Job Description:
Cache Roofing is seeking roofers who will also assist in the installation/repair of roofing and waterproofing systems ( Plidek, Con-Dek, and Miracote ). Training will be provided as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems (tile, metal, shingle); Apply waterproofing systems to roofs, decks, foundations, and other structures. Inspect surfaces to identify leaks, wear, or potential hazards and recommend appropriate repairs. Use hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, torches, and other roofing equipment safely and effectively. Operate ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection equipment according to safety standards. Remove old roofing and waterproofing materials as necessary before installation. Ensure proper sealing and flashing around vents, skylights, chimneys, and other roof penetrations. Follow specifications, and work orders to execute jobs accurately. Communicate effectively with foremen, team members, and clients when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
2+ years of roofing and/or waterproofing experience preferred (will consider training the right candidate). Knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and waterproofing techniques. Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods. Basic understanding of construction safety practices and equipment use. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and in a team.
