Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roof Repair Sub Contractor to join our dynamic construction team. Pay is by job or hourly. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality roofing repairs, restorations, and installations on various commercial and residential projects. Concrete Tile Repairs Flat Roof Repairs Shingle Repairs TPO Repairs Responsibilities Perform roofing repairs, including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other specialized systems, following detailed construction plans and schematics. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install roofing materials accurately. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise installation and restoration of roofing structures. Adhere strictly to construction safety regulations by utilizing safety harnesses, proper ladder use techniques, and other safety protocols during outdoor work. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining proper posture and technique. Install siding, stucco, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry elements, or other related exterior finishes as needed for comprehensive building restoration projects. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret schematics and ensure seamless integration of roofing with other building components such as plumbing or framing. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing repair or installation; prior work in metal roofing or single-ply membrane systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess project scope and material needs accurately. Hands-on experience with construction site safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and ladder safety practices. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for precise execution of projects. Knowledge of various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, caulking techniques, tile laying, and masonry work relevant to exterior restoration projects. Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions with a strong commitment to safety protocol adherence. Additional skills such as drywall framing (metal or wood), carpentry (including trim carpentry), remodeling, welding, plumbing integration, or heavy lifting are considered advantageous for versatile project execution.
