Roofing Mechanic

Duties Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, insulation, and other roofing components Use construction estimating skills to determine material needs and project timelines Conduct site inspections to ensure safety compliance and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, and other finishing techniques to ensure seamless roofing finishes Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, and restoration tasks as needed Operate fabrication equipment for custom metal or concrete forming components used in roofing systems Read schematics for metal stud framing or other structural elements related to roof construction Assist with remodeling or restoration projects involving roofing components or related structures Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or remodeling Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for complex projects Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques Knowledge of heavy lifting procedures and safety protocols on active construction sites Skills in caulking, tile laying, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, stucco application or similar finishing work is highly desirable Experience working with schematics for structural or mechanical systems related to roofing or building frameworks Prior handyman experience or general construction background that demonstrates versatility across multiple trades Join us to build durable roofs while advancing your skills in a supportive environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and professional growth!
