The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with hands-on experience in various trades. As a Water Technician, you will be responsible for assessing water damage, implementing restoration processes, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties Assess water damage and determine the appropriate restoration methods. Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently. Perform plumbing tasks including fixture installation, caulking, and repairs. Execute construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing. Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site including electricians, carpenters, and masons. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Document work performed and report progress to supervisors. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or related fields. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Strong skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, roofing, plastering, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, concrete forming, and restoration techniques. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Experience with construction estimating is a plus. Familiarity with Bluebeam software is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Must possess physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
