$25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience) About the Company Tiello has partnered with a reputable and growing construction contractor in the Miami market that is actively seeking an experienced Framer to join their team. This company has built a strong reputation through quality workmanship, safety, and long-term employee retention while delivering commercial and residential construction projects throughout South Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled framing professional who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Position Overview The Framer will be responsible for constructing and assembling the structural framework of buildings and other structures using wood, metal studs, and related materials. This individual will work closely with project leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in reading blueprints, laying out framing systems, and maintaining a high level of quality on the job site. Key Responsibilities Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials including wood and metal studs Construct walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and other structural components according to plans and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents Install sheathing, subfloors, blocking, and related framing materials Verify measurements and ensure all work meets quality standards and applicable building codes Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, foremen, and other trades on-site Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Identify and communicate potential project issues or delays to field leadership Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times Assist with material handling, layout, and staging to support project productivity Qualifications 3-5 years of framing experience in commercial and/or residential construction Experience with wood framing, metal stud framing, or both Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Strong understanding of construction methods and framing techniques Knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions Reliable transportation to and from job sites Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a team environment Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience on commercial construction projects Forklift, aerial lift, or equipment certifications Knowledge of local building codes and construction best practices Benefits Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays Overtime opportunities Career growth and advancement opportunities Ongoing training and professional development Stable pipeline of projects and long-term career potential Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Tiello is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
