Commercial Roofing Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Field Supervisor to oversee field operations, crews, and installation quality on commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Single-Ply, Modified Bitumen, and Tapered Insulation Roofing Systems , along with the leadership skills necessary to manage crews and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Key Responsibilities Supervise commercial roofing crews and daily field operations. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules. Ensure roofing installations meet manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and quality standards. Inspect completed work and identify potential issues before they become costly problems. Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, details, and roofing drawings. Monitor job-site safety and enforce company safety procedures. Communicate effectively with Project Managers, General Contractors, building owners, and subcontractors. Track daily production, manpower, materials, and job-site progress. Train and mentor roofing crews on proper installation techniques and safety practices. Assist with troubleshooting field conditions and developing practical solutions. Maintain professional job sites and ensure projects remain organized and on schedule. Required Roofing Experience Candidates must be proficient in commercial roofing systems , including: Single-Ply Roofing Systems - TPO, PVC, and EPDM Modified Bitumen Roofing Systems Tapered Insulation Systems Sloped Roofing Systems Roof tear-offs and replacements Roof penetrations, flashing, curbs, drains, and edge metal Roofing details, layouts, and manufacturer requirements Quality-control inspections and leak prevention Qualifications 5+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred. Previous experience as a Roofing Foreman, Superintendent, Field Supervisor, or similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing installation practices. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
