Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Demolition Worker to join our construction team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently tearing down structures, preparing sites for new construction, and ensuring all demolition activities adhere to safety standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help transform spaces, making way for innovative building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse demolition projects, utilizing a wide range of skills and tools to achieve outstanding results. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and skid steers to perform controlled demolitions of buildings and structures Use hand tools and power tools to dismantle components, including concrete, wood, metal, and drywall Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute demolition tasks accurately Conduct site inspections to identify hazards, plan demolition sequences, and ensure compliance with safety protocols Remove debris and hazardous materials efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment Assist with site restoration activities such as concrete finishing, masonry work, or framing as needed after demolition completion Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure smooth workflow Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on demolition activities Strong knowledge of construction management principles, estimating, inspection, and blueprint reading Skilled in operating heavy machinery and hand/power tools safely and effectively Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols Experience with various construction trades including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing, stucco, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, plastering, caulking, fabrication, restoration work, hardscape development, and concrete forming or finishing is highly desirable Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is a plus Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively Join our team today to be part of transformative projects that shape communities!
