Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Roofer to join our construction team and elevate our roofing projects to new heights! As a Lead Roofer, you will take charge of overseeing roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance on diverse commercial and residential structures. Your expertise will ensure that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled roofers, coordinate complex projects, and contribute to building durable, weather-resistant roofs that stand the test of time. Duties Supervise and coordinate roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications Lead the installation of various roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and roofing repair tasks Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to guide team activities effectively Ensure proper use of hand tools, power tools, construction safety harnesses, ladders, and other equipment in compliance with safety regulations Oversee the fabrication and installation of siding, stucco, metal stud framing, caulking, and other exterior finishes Conduct safety briefings and enforce construction workplace safety regulations among team members Manage heavy lifting operations and outdoor work activities while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency Collaborate with project managers to estimate construction costs and materials needed for roofing projects Train team members on proper techniques for roofing repair, metal roofing installation, siding installation, and the use of construction workplace safety equipment Maintain detailed records of project progress, safety inspections, and material usage Qualifications Extensive construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair Proven leadership skills as a lead or supervisor in a construction environment Strong knowledge of roofing materials including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems Experience interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately Familiarity with construction estimating processes and safety protocols adherence Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use techniques, heavy lifting procedures, and OSHA or local safety regulations Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with an emphasis on safety compliance Hands-on experience with siding installation, stucco application, caulking techniques, and remodeling projects is preferred Ability to train others in roof-related tasks such as roofing repair or metal stud framing is a plus Join us as a Lead Roofer to shape durable roofs that protect communities! Pay:
$20.00 - $31.61 per hour
