In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures with a focus on roofing and carpentry projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and problem-solving skills while contributing to high-quality construction outcomes. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications. Construct and repair roofs, including shingling, flashing, and waterproofing to ensure weatherproof integrity. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans. Perform framing tasks such as metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming for various structures. Apply finishing techniques including trim carpentry, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, and restoration work. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving plumbing, masonry, welding, fabrication, and other trades to deliver comprehensive solutions. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, roofing, carpentry, and general construction site work. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and nail guns; welding equipment; and heavy machinery. Strong knowledge of schematics, metal stud framing, drywall installation, masonry techniques, and restoration processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks. Prior handyman experience or versatility across multiple trades is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
