Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure durable, weather-tight roofs that stand the test of time, contributing to the safety and comfort of our clients. Duties Install new roofing systems using materials such as asphalt shingles, metal, tile, or membrane roofing with precision and attention to detail Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs, including patching leaks and replacing worn-out materials Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation aligned with project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on construction sites Conduct inspections of roofing structures during various phases of construction to ensure quality standards are met Coordinate with project managers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to facilitate seamless project execution Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco finishing, and other related skills as needed for comprehensive roof installation and restoration projects Utilize Bluebeam software for digital markup and project documentation to streamline communication and project tracking Assist in the fabrication of roofing components and perform concrete forming or masonry work when required Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring site safety protocols are followed Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or related construction roles with a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, heavy equipment operation, and safety equipment on construction sites Familiarity with construction management principles and inspection procedures to ensure quality control Experience with plumbing, electrical systems integration related to roofing or building systems is a plus Ability to work at heights safely while maintaining focus on detail-oriented tasks Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and project stakeholders Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards or equivalent preferred Join us in building durable roofs that protect communities!
