Metal Roof Installer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metal Roof Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable, high-quality metal roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure that roofs are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Duties Measure and prepare roofing surfaces according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation. Install metal roofing panels, trim carpentry components, flashing, caulking, and other related materials with precision. Utilize fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and assemble roofing components on-site or in the workshop. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as metal sheets, framing components, and insulation while maintaining safety protocols. Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, alignment, and sealing of roofing systems. Collaborate with team members on framing, masonry work, plumbing integration, or restoration tasks as needed for comprehensive project completion. Experience Prior experience in construction estimating or working on roofing projects is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is essential for success in this role. Demonstrated knowledge of construction site safety practices and experience working on various construction sites. Skills in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, welding, tile laying or masonry are a plus. Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking techniques, remodeling projects or handyman work will be advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail throughout the installation process.
