ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY EPP LLC

is launching a brand-new in-house roofing division in Fort Wayne and we're hiring roofers to join our founding crew. We service a scattered-site portfolio of single-family rental properties and some commercial buildings owned by our affiliated property management company across the Fort Wayne area. That means you'll be moving from property to property — working on a variety of roofs and never doing the same thing two days in a row. The work is portfolio-driven rather than bid-driven, which means a more consistent project pipeline than typical roofing jobs. We're offering full-time work with a stable company that's invested in its people.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Travel with the crew to multiple properties across the Fort Wayne area each week.
• Install, repair, and replace residential roofing systems including asphalt shingle and metal.
• Tear off existing roofing materials safely and clean each job site as you go.
• Install underlayment, flashing, drip edge, ventilation, and finish materials per manufacturer specs.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as you move between properties.
• Work safely at heights using proper fall protection, ladders, and PPE.
• Communicate with your supervisor and crew throughout the day.
• Follow OSHA safety standards on every job site.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• Prior roofing, construction, or skilled trades experience preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand, climb, kneel, and bend throughout the workday.
• Reliable transportation to and from a daily meet-up point or directly to job sites.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of hands-on roofing experience (qualifies for higher end of pay range).
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification.
• Valid Indiana driver's license.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
